No va sin tiempo pero es que tiene bastante pecado omitir este "Back To Land" de Wooden Shjips hasta la llegada de las consabidas listas de fin de año, toda una delicia psicodélica venida desde San Francisco y disponible a través de Thrill Jockey.
"For Back to Land, we decided to look back a little bit, to let our childhood influences, mostly classic rock, seep into the sound of the album. Part of that came from moving into a proper home for the first time in years, in a new city (Portland), and getting all of my old records out of storage. Something about winter in the northwest encourages self-reflection, introspection, so that played a bigger part in the process as well."
